Daniel Radcliffe closing in on hunchback role in Frankenstein

The Woman in Black

Story by Jack Foley

FORMER Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe is closing in on a deal to star in a new revisionist take on Frankenstein.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the British actor would play the role of the hunchback Igor, who is described as pathologically dirty, with long hair and wearing old clown clothes.

Paul McGuinan is directing the project, which is based on a script by Chronicle scribe Max Landis that has been adapted from the classic horror story by Mary Shelley.

If final negotiations prove successful, a late summer production start in the UK is being planned.

Radcliffe was most recently seen in horror movie The Woman In Black and will shortly be seen in Kill Your Darlings playing a 19-year-old Allen Ginsberg.
