Daniel Radcliffe joins fantasy-thriller Horns

The Woman in Black

Story by Jack Foley

DANIEL Radcliffe is to star in a new supernatural fantasy/thriller called Horns.

Based on the novel by Joe Hill, the film finds the former Harry Potter star playing the number one suspect for the rape and murder of his girlfriend.

His character awakens one morning to find horns starting to grow from his own head and realises their power drives people to confess their sins and give into their impulses.

He subsequently uses this powert as a means to help discover the truth behind his late girlfriend’s demise.

Horns is being directed by Alexandre Aja (of The Hills Have Eyes and Piranha 3D fame) and will commence shooting in the autumn.

Commenting on the appeal of the project, Aja told Variety: “After reading Joe Hill’s cult book, I couldn’t resist temptation to dive into the devilish underworld and re-invent a universal myth.”

For Radcliffe, Horns marks his second foray into the supernatural as the actor starred earlier this year in box office hit The Woman in Black.
