Deadpool 2 - No Good Deed teaser trailer

A TEASER for Deadpool 2 is playing ahead of Logan in cinemas – and as is the way with the Internet nowadays, that footage has made its way online.

After all, the ‘merc with the mouth’ couldn’t just let Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine ride off into the sunset without a little goodbye.

Indeed, it was Ryan Reynolds himself who shared the clip, titled No Good Deed, via Twitter on Saturday morning.

One again, Deadpool 2 stars Reynolds as the X-Men anti-hero. The teaser, meanwhile, shows the character attempting to intervene in a street mugging, only to find the art of the quick costume change harder than he thought (and hindered by the confines of a phone booth).

The film is directed by John Wick filmmaker David Leitch and is written by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, the duo behind the original film.

Deadpool 2 is currently in casting mode and no release date has yet been set. But it’s good to see Reynolds is suited up (well, almost) and raring to go.

As the teaser promises: “Deadpool. Coming. Not Soon Enough.”
