DON Johnson is in final talks to join the cast of Cameron Diaz comedy The Other Woman.

If successful, the former Miami Vice star would play Diaz’s father.

Written by Melissa Stack, The Other Woman follows Diaz’s character as she learns that she is “the other woman” in an affair, prompting her to team up with the wife (Leslie Mann) to get revenge on the cheating husband (Game of Thrones star Nikolaj Coster-Waldau).

Johnson’s character is described by The Hollywood Reporter as “a charmer who dates women half his age”.

Kate Upton and Nicki Minaj are also in the cast, while the film itself is currently shooting in New York.

Johnson was last seen on the big screen playing a plantation owner in Quentin Tarantino’s Django Unchained.
