Dwayne Johnson prepares to go Faster

DWAYNE Johnson is set to appear in a new action-revenge thriller called Faster.
The film will find the actor playing an ex-con intent on avenging the murder of his brother, according to Variety.
It was originally envisaged as a project that would reunite Johnson with Phil Joanou following their work together on The Gridiron Gang. But the project has been in limbo since the director left several months ago.
George Tillman Jr, who last directed Notorious BIG biopic Notorious, is now in talks to step behind the camera with a view to beginning filming early in 2010.
