Elisabeth Moss to star in new horror, Run Rabbit Run

The Handmaid's Tale

Story by Jack Foley

ELISABETH Moss is to star in Daina Reid’s ghost horror thriller Run Rabbit Run.

The film, which is being introduced at the upcoming virtual Cannes market, reunites Moss with Reid, who directed several episodes of The Handmaid’s Tale.

The Golden Globe-winning actress will play a character named Sarah, a fertility doctor with a firm understanding of the cycle of life: you are born, you live and then you die… and that’s it.

But when she is forced to make sense of the increasingly strange behaviour of her young daughter, Mia, Sarah must challenge her own beliefs and confront a ghost from her past.

Novelist Hannah Kent wrote the script from an original idea developed with Carver Films. Moss is also among the film’s producers (alongside her partner Lindsey McManus).

Aside from The Handmaid’s Tale, Moss recently starred in horror hit The Invisible Man and Her Smell. She will next be seen in Wes Anderson’s The French Dispatch as well as Taika Waititi’s Next Goal Wins and Shirley for Neon Films.

Reid’s other credits include directing episodes of HBO’s horror hit The Outsider and Amazon’s Upload. She also recently directed two episodes of Netflix’s Space Force.
