Story by Jack Foley

ERIC Bana is in talks to star opposite Saoirse Ronan in Hanna for director Joe Wright.

The thriller focuses on a teenage assassin and Bana would play Ronan’s father, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

The film follows Ronan’s 14-year-old Eastern European girl as she is saved from a CIA breeding camp and raised by her dad to be a cold-blooded killing machine.

After finding peace with a French family, she is reluctantly dragged back to her father’s world and must fight to stay free.

Bana last appeared in Judd Apatow’s comedy-drama Funny People and took the romantic lead in The Time Traveler’s Wife – but he’s no stranger to action roles, having toplined movies such as The Hulk, Troy, Black Hawk Down and Munich (pictured).
