Gary Oldman set to play villain in Motor City

Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy

Story by Jack Foley

OSCAR nominated actor Gary Oldman is in final talks to play the villain in Motor City, a revenge thriller by Dark Castle.

If successful, he will join Dominic Cooper and Amber Heard in the thriller, which is being directed by Albert Hughes for Warner Bros.

The film follows the fortunes of a small-time hood who is framed and sent to prison, only to exact revenge years later to get back the woman he loves.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Oldman, who previously worked with Hughes on the Denzel Washington starrer The Book of Eli, will act as a kingpin-type who has his hooks into the woman.

Shooting is due to take place in Berlin in April.

Oldman received his first ever Academy Award nomination last week for his performance in Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy.

He will next reprise his role as Commissioner Gordon in Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight Rises
