Gemma Chan in talks for Marvel's Eternals as Barry Keoghan confirmed

GEMMA Chan is in talks to join the ever-growing cast of Marvel’s Eternals movie alongside Angelina Jolie and Richard Madden.

Also joining is Barry Keoghan, known for Christopher Nolan’s Dunkirk and HBO’s Chernobyl.

Chloe Zhao is directing the superhero adventure project, based on the 1976 comic book series created by Jack Kirby. Jolie has been confirmed to play Thena, an Eternal that has super strength, speed and stamina, while Madden will be playing Ikaris.

Salma Hayek is also on board to play Ajak, while Kumail Nanjiani is also among the ensemble.

The project features the super-powered and near-immortal beings known as Eternals and a more monstrous off-shoot known as the Deviants that were created by cosmic beings known as Celestials.

Whie Keoghan has been confirmed, it has not yet been revealed what role he will play.

Chan is currently close to clinching a deal, having previously been a part of the MCU as Minn-Erva alongside Brie Larson in box office smash Captain Marvel. She has also starred in Crazy Rich Asians.

The Eternals is due for release on November 6, 2020.
