George Clooney and Paul Greengrass unite for NY crime caper
Story by Jack Foley
GEORGE Clooney looks set to unite with Bourne director Paul Greengrass for an as-yet untitled crime caper set in New York.
The film would be notable for also reuniting Clooney and producing partner Grant Heslov with screenwriter Chris Terrio, who worked with them on the Oscar tipped Argo.
According to The Hollywood Reporter and various other movie trade publications, plot details remain under wraps but the project is set in the world of New York crime.
The union between Clooney and Greengrass has been in place for some time but the latest development is that Terrio, who is now in demand following the success of Ben Affleck’s Argo, is tackling it.
The screenwriter’s other forthcoming work includes the English-language remake of the French thriller Tell No One for Warner Bros.
