Harrison Ford and Rachel McAdams brave cold London for premiere
Story by Jack Foley
HARRISON Ford and Rachel McAdams braved another cold night in London to hang out with their fans during the UK Premiere of their latest movie, Morning Glory, on Tuesday night (January 11, 2011).
The Hollywood pair were joined by co-star Patrick Wilson and director Roger Michell on the red carpet, chatting to fans, posing for photos and signing autographs.
Ford took the more practical approach to the evening, donning a light blue scarf and suit as he did the rounds, while sometimes joking with his co-stars or talking about his grumpy news anchorman to the press.
But McAdams stunned many onlookers when she removed her coat to reveal a skimpy print dress, which barely covered her assets on what proved to be a blustery evening in the capital.
Other head-turners on the red carpet included Peter Andre, The Only Way Is Essex star Amy Childs and Kerry Katona, who also attempted to dazzle onlookers in a little black dress.
Morning Glory follows the story of an energetic television producer (played by McAdams) who is given the task of trying to revive a morning television show coincidentally named Daybreak in America. She does so by uniting two warring co-hosts (played by Ford and Diane Keaton), who learn to love each other in spite of their differences.
McAdams, 32, admitted she found it daunting starring alongside Ford, as he is a childhood hero of hers – her respect and admiration for him mirroring that of her character’s in the film when she first persuades Ford’s character to join her ailing programme.
Morning Glory opens in UK cinemas on January 21. View photos from the red carpet
