Hitman sequel in the works
Story by Jack Foley
A SEQUEL to Hitman is being primed for a cinema release following the success of the original movie.
Variety reports that Kyle Ward has been hired to pen a script that will incorporate elements of Hitman 5, the latest computer game in the series that’s due for a release in late 2010.
It’s rumoured that the story will find bald assassin Agent 47 at a low point in his career but determined to build himself back up physically and psychologically and to reclaim his position as the world’s most feared assassin.
The original Hitman starred Timothy Olyphant and grossed $100 million on a $30 million budget.
It’s not yet been confirmed whether Olyphant will reprise his role.
