UNRESTRICTED View is delighted to announce the return of its North London Film Festival.

Launched in 2016, and following two very successful years, the 2018 festival is set to be bigger and better than ever before and will take place between April 23 and – 29, 2018.

Already films in all categories have been submitted from across the world and the programming of screenings is underway.

Needless to say, submissions are open now, with the final extended deadline now set at March 14, 2018.

The UVFF is run by filmmakers for filmmakers and holds at its core, a passionate desire to celebrate the very best in, and encourage all aspects of, independent film making.

The Festival’s main hub will as ever, be situated at The Hen & Chickens Theatre, an independent theatre and cinema in Islington, North London.

The pub below will serve as the networking and meeting place for filmmakers and fans alike. Films will be screened there all day and each evening for the duration of the festival, alongside workshops and other events held through the event each day.

In addition, and for the first time, the festival is expanding beyond The Hen and Chickens to fully establish itself as a notable cultural event across Islington.

The opening night film for UVFF 2018 will be show at The Screen on the Green.

In addition, The Vintage Mobile Cinema has also been secured and will screen films in the outside grounds of The Alwyne Castle pubic house from April 26 – 29.

Tickets for all shows are available from www.unrestrictedview.co.uk or on the door.

Details of category finalists and full details of the programme for the festival will be announced on March 18 – the day after the nominees are notified.

Full information about the launch event and details of the judging panels which will be made up of leading industry professionals, passionate about independent film will be announced on the same day.
