Jai Courtney joins Divergent

JAI Courtney has joined the cast of Divergent, the big screen adaptation of Veronica Roth’s popular young adult novel.
Set in a future society that is divided into factions based on human traits, the film also stars Shailene Woodley, Maggie Q, Zoe Kravitz and Ansel Elgort.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Courtney – who was last seen playing Bruce Willis’s son in A Good Day To Die Hard – will play one of Woodley’s antagonists, a face-pierced leader of the Dauntless faction named Eric.
Neil Burger (of Limitless fame) is directing with a view to having the film ready for release on March 21, 2014.
Courtney next appears in I, Frankenstein, which opens in the US in September.
