Jai Courtney to play Kyle Reese in Terminator reboot
Story by Jack Foley
JAI Courtney has landed the plumb role of Kyle Reese in the forthcoming Terminator remake.
The role was formerly played by Michael Biehn in the James Cameron original, which involved him travelling from the future to the present to save Sarah Connor only to end up fathering the future human resistance hero John Connor.
Emilia Clarke and Jason Clarke have already been signed up to play Sarah Connor and John Connor in the reboot, which is being directed by Alan Taylor (of Thor: The Dark World fame).
Courtney is hitherto best known for his breakthrough role in TV’s Spartacus before playing a cold-blooded killer alongside Tom Cruise in Jack Reacher and Bruce Willis’ son in A Good Day To Die Hard (pictured).
He’ll next be seen in the adaptation of Divergent.
