Jake Gyllenhaal and Amy Adams join Prohibition drama Ezekiel Moss

JAKE Gyllenhaal and Amy Adams are to head the cast of Prohibition Era drama Ezekiel Moss.
Philip Seymour Hoffman is directing the film, which is being launched to foreign buyers at the Berlin Film Festival.
The plot finds Adams playing a character named Iris, who runs a boarding house to get by and provide for her spirited son, Joel, despite being emotionally fragile following the loss of her husband.
They reside in a small town over-run by religious fervor but find their lives changed forever when she begins to fall in love with Ezekiel Moss (Gyllenhaal), a mysterious drifter who has the divine ability to channel and physically inhabit the spirits of the dead.
The film is based on a Black List script by Keith Bunin.
