James D’Arcy and Nina Dobrev join Let’s Be Cops

JAMES D’Arcy and Nina Dobrev have joined the cast of ensemble comedy Let’s Be Cops.

Luke Greenfield directs the story of two friends who impersonate cops for fun only to find that everything goes wrong when they mess with a real-life mobster.

New Girl‘s Jake Johnson and Damon Wayans Jr. have landed the lead roles.

British actor D’Arcy will play the mobster while Vampire Diaries star Dobrev plays Wayans’ love interest.

D’Arcy has been busy of late on both film and TV. He was recently seen playing Anthony Perkins in Hitchcock, as well as King Edward VI in Madonna’s W.E. and took on several roles in Jupiter Ascending, while his new show for A&E, Those Who Kill, was recently picked up for series.
