Story by Jack Foley

JEFF Goldblum (pictured) and Oliver Platt are two of the latest names to join the cast of Johnny Depp action comedy Mortdecai.

They will be joined by Parks and Recreation‘s Aubrey Plaza on the David Koepp directed project.

The film recently completed filming in London and has now moved to Los Angeles.

The plot follows art dealer and part-time rogue Charlie Mortdecai (played by Depp) as he travels the globe armed only with his good looks and special charm in a race to recover a stolen painting that is rumoured to contain the code to a lost bank account filled with Nazi gold.

The film also stars the previously cast Gwyneth Paltrow, Ewan McGregor, Olivia Munn and Paul Bettany.

Plaza’s recent film credits include The To Do List and Safety Not Guaranteed, while Goldblum will next be seen in Wes Anderson’s The Grand Budapest Hotel.

Platt most recently appeared in X-Men: First Class and Love & Other Drugs.
