Joan Allen and Albert Finney set for The Bourne Legacy

The Bourne Ultimatum

Story by Jack Foley

JOAN Allen and Albert Finney are in talks to join Universal’s The Bourne Legacy, the first in the series to be filmed without Matt Damon.

Instead, Tony Gilroy’s film will focus on Jeremy Renner as a new operative, enabling both Allen and Finney to step back into the roles they created in the previous chapters.

Allen will again be seen as Pam Landy, the CIA agent she played in 2004’s The Bourne Supremacy and 2007’s The Bourne Ultimatum.

Finney, who was seen as the head of a behaviour modification program in Ultimatum, will also pick up where he left off.

Gilroy, who was a writer on the first three Bourne movies, is also writing and directing this time around.

Legacy will also star Rachel Weisz, Oscar Isaac and Edward Norton.
