Jonah Hill for Pam Rooney project

JONAH Hill is to star in a new comedy called The Best Thing About Pam Rooney for Universal Pictures.
Plot details remain sketchy but Variety has described the project as a high concept romantic comedy. It is currently being written by Andrew Jay Cohen and Brendan O’Brien, the latest two writers to have emerged from the Judd Apatow school of comedy.
Hill, who shot to stardom in Superbad, has recently completed Forgetting Sarah Marshall spin-off Get Him To The Greek alongside Russell Brand and can shortly be seen in Funny People, alongside Adam Sandler and Seth Rogen.
He is also hoping to re-team with Michael Cera on a Superbad sequel.
Funny People opens in UK cinemas on August 28. Watch clips
