Josh Friedman to help pen Avatar 2 screenplay

Story by Jack Foley

JOSH Friedman has been enlisted by James Cameron to work on the screenplay for Avatar 2.

The writer’s previous credits include The Black Dahlia and War of the Worlds, while he also served as an executive producer on the TV series Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles.

Friedman’s appointment is seen as a big feather in his cap and it should be interesting to see how he responds to being asked to help write the follow-up to the highest grossing film of all-time.

Twentieth Century Fox is eyeing a Christmas 2015 release for the film, which has been keeping Cameron himself busy in New Zealand.
