JUSTIN Timberlake is the latest addition to the 48th film from Woody Allen.

As yet untitled, and with plot details remaining under wraps as usual, the film is nevertheless gaining a star-studded cast.

Timberlake joins the previously announced Kate Winslet as well as newcomers James Belushi and Juno Temple (who were only announced earlier this week).

The film will take place in 1950s New York with shooting due to commence in the autumn (2016).

Allen’s latest film, Cafe Society, premiered to mostly favourable reviews on the opening night of this year’s Cannes Film Festival. It’s set for release on July 15 in the US, with a UK date to follow.

In addition, Allen is reportedly nearing completion on his first-ever television show: an untitled six-episode series he wrote and directed for Amazon starring himself, Miley Cyrus and Elaine May.

It is due to premiere exclusively on Amazon Prime Video later this year.
