Keira Knightley finds Cronenberg's Cure
Story by Jack Foley
KEIRA Knightley and Michael Fassbender have reportedly signed on to star in David Cronenberg’s adaptation of The Talking Cure.
They will be joined by Inglourious Basterds co-star Christoph Waltz, according to Empire Online, who credit Playlist and Australian distributor Hopscotch Films as sources.
The film will examine the origins of psycho-analysis as seen through the eyes of Sigmund Freud and Carl Jung and their complex relationship with a beautiful patient.
Cronenberg has been attached to the project since 2007 but opted to make it his new priority after Tom Cruise withdrew from his preferred choice, The Matarese Circle.
Knightley is currently making her West End debut in The Misanthrope alongside Damian Lewis. Check out the early reviews
