Keira Knightley in talks to join Will Smith in Collateral Beauty

Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit

Story by Jack Foley

KEIRA Knightley is in talks to join Will Smith in the new drama Collateral Beauty.

The film, to be directed by David Frankel, will focus on a New York advertising exec (played by Smith) who experiences a deep personal tragedy, prompting his colleagues to devise a unique plan to break him out of his depression. The ensuing plan works, but not in a way that anyone imagined.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, one of the movie’s conceits finds Smith’s co-stars playing walking embodiments of Love, Time and Death. Knightley would play Love.

If negotiations are concluded successfully, the British actress would join a cast that further includes Dame Helen Mirren, Edward Norton, Michael Pena and Naomie Harris.

Knightley, who received an Oscar nomination for her work in The Imitation Game, last appeared with Jason Clarke and Jake Gyllenhaal in the mountaineering adventure movie Everest.
