Kevin Costner in Rumour Has It

Story by Jack Foley

KEVIN Costner is in talks to star in the Guillermo del Toro produced thriller Midnight Delivery.

If successful, the actor would play a father who becomes a drug mule to save his son’s life.

The film is based on a script by Neil Cross, which in turn is based on an idea by del Toro. As yet, there is no word on who will direct.

Costner was recently seen in Man of Steel playing Jonathan Kent.

His busy forthcoming slate includes Black & White with Octavia Spencer (which he is currently filming) and Disney’s MacFarland, the deal for which was only recently completed ahead of an autumn shoot.

In addition, Costner has also completed a role in Paramount’s Jack Ryan and Draft Day, both of which are expected to open next year.
