Kristen Stewart and Jesse Eisenberg to reunite for American Ultra

Story by Jack Foley

KRISTEN Stewart and Jesse Eisenberg are to reunite for action comedy American Ultra.

The story follows an unmotivated stoner named Mike (to be played by Eisenberg), who lives with his girlfriend Phoebe (Stewart) in a small, sleepy town until their lives take an unexpected turn one night when Mike’s past comes back to haunt him.

Indeed, he becomes the target of a government operation sent to wipe him out.

Producer Anthony Bregman explained: “Simply put, American Ultra will be the most fun you can possibly have in a movie theater without the use of drugs, fireworks or canola oil.”

Ultra is set to begin shooting in April 2014 under the direction of Nima Nourizadeh, who previously helmed the surprise hit comedy Project X. Max Landis, who wrote the hit sci-fi found-footage movie Chronicle, has penned the script.

Stewart has recently wrapped Camp X-Ray and Sils Maria, while Eisenberg was most recently seen in The Double as well as summer blockbuster hit Now You See Me.

The two previously co-headlined coming-of-age comedy Adventureland.

Bregman, meanwhile, most recently produced Enough Said, the James Gandolfini/Julia Louis-Dreyfus dramedy
