Logan - Teaser poster revealed for Wolverine 3

Logan

JUST 24 hours after Hugh Jackman promised some action on the third Wolverine movie, a teaser poster has dropped that is sure to raise excitement levels to fever pitch.

The poster is simple: it shows the scarred hand of Wolverine, complete with claws out, being held by a child’s hand. There are no faces. The poster simply states Logan and carries a release promise of being in cinemas in March 2017.

It’s a proper teaser… and a fascinating one at that.

The plot does still remain a mystery but the first-look is in keeping with Jackman’s promise that stuff would start appearing in the next week or so.

In an interview with ET Online, the star said: “We’ve finished shooting. I just saw [director] Jim Mangold today. He’s editing away and finishing that. There’s going to be some stuff coming out in the next week or so. That’s all I’ll say. I’m not good. I’m the kind of person who tells everybody everything. Basically it’s going to be different. Very different in tone and hopefully to anything we’ve done.”

Rumours abound that the plot of the new film will follow the 2008-09 Mark Millar storyline Old Man Logan, which tells the tale of an aged Wolverine.

When pressed on this in the same interview, Jackman merely smiled and replied: “… which is a good thing. Easy for me to play.”

Wolverine is set for release on March 3, 2017.
