Marcia Gay Harden joins Fifty Shades of Grey

MARCIA Gay Harden is the latest addition to the ever-growing cast of Fifty Shades of Grey.
The Oscar-winning actress will play the role of Dr Grace Trevelyan Grey, the adoptive mother of Christian Grey (Jamie Dornan), Mia Grey (Rita Ora) and Elliot Grey (Luke Grimes), in the adaptation of the EL James erotic novel.
Dakota Johnson will play Anastasia Steele in the film, a college student who falls for a mysterious and handsome billionaire, who reveals to her his world of S&M activities.
The cast is rounded out by Eloise Mumford as Anastasia’s best friend, Kate Kavanagh; Victor Rasuk as Anastasia’s close friend José; Jennifer Ehle as Anastasia’s mother, Carla; and Max Martini as Grey’s bodyguard.
Sam Taylor-Johnson from a script that has been worked on by Kelly Marcel (initial draft), Patrick Marber and Mark Bomback.
Harden won her Oscar as best supporting actress in Pollock and was also nominated in the same category for Clint Eastwood’s Mystic River.
She was most recently seen in ensemble JFK drama Parkland (pictured) and recently finished shooting Woody Allen’s latest film, Magic in the Moonlight.
