Megan Fox to reunite with Michael Bay for Ninja Turtle movie
Story by Jack Foley
MEGAN Fox is to reunite with her former Transformers director Michael Bay for an updated film version of 90s big screen hit Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
The news was confirmed by Bay via his official website, when he posted: ““TMNT: we are bringing Megan Fox back into the family!”
Fox famously fell out with Bay during the filming of the second Transformers movie Revenge of The Fallen, which resulted in the star not appearing in the third instalment.
But their differences appear to be resolved and Fox is now being tipped to play reporter April O’Neil, a character originally played by Judith Hoag in the original 1990 Ninja Turtles movie.
Bay will act as producer on the forthcoming movie, which Jonathan Liebesman is to direct using a mixture of live action performances and computer animation.
Fox is the first name attached and casting is currently ongoing, with turtles Donatello, Michelangelo, Leonardo and Raphael expected to be played by relative unknowns.
The film will be released in May 2014.
