MICHAEL B Jordan, Margot Robbie and Christian Bale will all star in a new drama being written and directed by David O Russell.

Plot details are being kept under wraps on the movie, which marks Russell’s return to the director’s chair for the first time since 2015’s Joy, starring Jennifer Lawrence.

Production is due to commence in April [2020].

Jordan, who was most recently seen in the legal drama Just Mercy, will film the yet-to-be-titled Russell movie before heading into production on Denzel Washington’s next directorial venture, A Journal for Jordan, which is slated to shoot later in the year.

And the Black Panther has also confirmed that he will be returning for a third instalment in the Creed franchise. On top of that, he is starring in Tom Clancy adaptation Without Remorse, which is due in cinemas in September.

Robbie, meanwhile, can currently be seen on UK cinema screens in both Bombshell and Harley Quinn: Birds of Prey. While Bale was most recently seen in Ford Vs Ferrari.

Russell’s previous films have also included Silver Linings Playbook and The Fighter.
