Michael B Jordan reuniting with Ryan Coogler for Wrong Answer movie

Fruitvale Station

Story by Jack Foley

MICHAEL B. Jordan and director Ryan Coogler are reuniting for a fourth time, for the new movie Wrong Answer.

According to Variety, the partnership will be revived for the real life story of a cheating scandal that shook an Atlanta public school in 2006.

The story will focus on teacher Damany Lewis, who took part in the cheating scandal in order to save Parks Middle School, where he worked, from being shut down. Jordan is set to play the role of Damany, one of the 11 teachers embroiled in the scandal.

The story was first brought to light by the New Yorker.

Jordan and Coogler have formed something of a prolific partnership since debuting their first movie, Fruitvale Station at Sundance in 2013.

They went on to work on critically-acclaimed Rocky spin-off Creed together, where Jordan portrayed Adonis Johnson Creed, aka Apollo Creed’s son.

And they most recently collaborated on the Marvel superhero phenomenon Black Panther, which Coogler co-wrote and directed and in which Jordan plays the main villain Erik Killmonger.
