Michael Mann and Chris Hemsworth to unite for cyber terrorism thriller

Michael Mann directs Public Enemies

Story by Jack Foley

MICHAEL Mann has reportedly teamed up with Chris Hemsworth for a new cyber-thriller.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Mann will direct and Hemsworth will star in the as-yet untitled project, which will reportedly revolve around cyber-terrorism.

No further plot details have been released and there is no information on what type of role Hemsworth would play.

It is also uncertain when work would begin on the project, although Hemsworth – who will next be seen in Ron Howard’s F1 film Rush and the Thor sequel – appears to have a gap in his schedule following the collapse of Robopocalypse.

The project would mark Mann’s first feature since 2009’s Public Enemies, although he has directed the pilot of HBO’s horse racing drama Luck, which aired 2012.
