Nordicana 2015: Win a pair of weekend tickets

Nordicana

Preview by Jack Foley

FROM June 6-7, 2015, fans with a criminal curiosity for provocative Nordic crime dramas can flock to the Troxy theatre in London for Nordicana – Nordic Noir & Beyond Live.

The event plays host to the brightest stars from the Scandinavian television shows and crime fiction that we in the UK have come to love, including The Bridge’s icy leading lady Sofia Helin and none other than Sofie Gråbøl, who played the iconic Sarah Lund in three seasons of The Killing.

In addition to these shining lights of the genre will be stars of the hit Danish show The Legacy and the brand new BBC FOUR series 1864 – which will come to its dramatic conclusion with final episode screenings at the event with cast-member Q&A’s.

Nordicana will premiere 4 brand new series with episode one exclusive screenings of ITV Encore’s Jordskott, More4’s new 6-part WWII drama The Saboteurs, episode one of season 2 of The Legacy and the new French Crime series from Channel 4 – Witnesses.

The festival is designed to allow audiences the chance to explore the intoxicating realm of Nordic Noir and to get up close and personal, with an interactive collection of cultural activities to choose from. A tantalising range of food, drink, design and culture combines the excitement of a cultural expo with the flair of a film and literary festival.
