Omar Sy and Jake Johnson returning to Jurassic World 3

Omar Sy

Story by Jack Foley

OMAR Sy and Jake Johnson are to reprise their roles for the forthcoming third film in the Jurassic World franchise.

Both actors appeared in 2015’s Jurassic World but were absent from the follow-up.

The two will join franchise stars Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard in the new project, which also sees original Jurassic Park stars Laura Dern, Sam Neill and Jeff Goldblum returning to the series.

Colin Trevorrow, who helmed Jurassic World, is back as director after sitting out 2018’s Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.

In Jurassic World, Sy played a character named Barry Sembene, a velociraptor trainer and colleague of Pratt’s character, while Johnson played scene-stealing Lowery Cruthers, a sardonic control room operator on the Jurassic Park theme park island who was ready to give his life to save others.

Universal has set a June 21, 2021, release date for the third film.
