Patrick Wilson joins Liam Neeson and Vera Farmiga on The Commuter

Fargo: Season 2

Story by Jack Foley

PATRICK Wilson is joining Liam Neeson and his Conjuring co-star Vera Farmiga on new action thriller The Commuter.

The film marks the latest collaboration between leading man Neeson and director Jaume Collet-Serra, who previously worked together on Non-Stop, Unknown and Run All Night.

The film will focus on an insurance salesman (played by Neeson) who is forced by a mysterious stranger (Farmiga) to uncover the identity of a passenger before the train’s last stop while in the midst of his daily commute.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Fargo star Wilson has a key role, playing the salesman’s trusted friend who helps him along the way.

The Commuter is currently shooting in London and is based on a script by Philip de Blasi and Byron Willinger.

In addition to his recurring role in brilliant ensemble series Fargo, Wilson is coming off starring in one of this summer’s biggest hits, The Conjuring 2, which saw him reprise his role of paranormal investigator Ed Warren alongside Farmiga (who plays his wife).

He will also shortly be seen starring opposite Michael Keaton in The Founder.

Collet-Serra is currently hot off the back of the success of shark thriller The Shallows.
