Robert Pattinson joins Brady Corbet's The Childhood of a Leader

ROBERT Pattinson has joined the cast of Brady Corbet’s directorial debut, The Childhood of a Leader.
The British actor and former Twilight star will line up alongside Juliette Binoche and Tim Roth in the drama.
The story focuses on the childhood of a post-World War I leader and is based on a script that was also co-written by Corbet with Mona Fastvold, the director of The Sleepwalker.
Shooting is due to commence in Europe in May 2014.
Pattinson will next be seen in the thriller The Rover alongside Guy Pearce and also has The Lost City of Z, Life and Queen of the Desert (in which he plays Col. T.E. Lawrence) in various stages of development.
Corbet, whose screen acting credits include Simon Killer and Funny Games, most recently completed a role in Noah Baumbach’s While We’re Young, Andrea Di Stefano’s Paradise Lost and Olivier Assayas’ Sils Maria.
He has previously impressed behind the camera with his short, Protect You + Me, which received an honourable mention at Sundance in 2009.
