Ryan Gosling to join Steve Carell marital comedy

RYAN Gosling is to star opposite Steve Carell in a new comedy about a father dealing with a marital crisis.
The Half Nelson star will play the suave best friend of Carell’s character, whose life unravels as he tries to manage his relationship with his children.
The as-yet untitled film will be co-directed by John Requa and Glenn Ficarra (of I Love You Phillip Morris fame) and is based on a script by Bolt writer Dan Fogelman.
Gosling next stars opposite Michelle Williams in another relationship drama, Blue Valentine, as well as Kirsten Dunst on the mystery romance All Good Things.
