Sam Worthington eyes futuristic Crime thriller

SAM Worthington is poised to star in a new futuristic thriller called The Last Days of American Crime.
The film, set in the not-too-distant future, would focus on a government plan to secretly broadcast a signal that would make it impossible for people to knowingly commit a crime, according to Variety.
It is based on the comic book series of the same name by Rick Remender.
Worthington, who was last seen in Terminator Salvation, is currently shooting a remake of The Debt opposite Helen Mirren.
He will shortly be seen in James Cameron’s Avatar as well as next year’s epic remake of Clash of the Titans.
He recently dropped out of The Tourist, to be replaced by Johnny Depp
