The premise finds an uptight FBI agent being forced to work with an unconventional Boston cop and the strain this puts on their relationship.

The project is being fast-tracked to a summer start date to enable it to fit into the busy schedules of McCarthy, who stars on CBSMike and Molly, and Feig, who is developing several projects in the wake of his Bridesmaids success.

Among Feig’s other upcoming projects is a remake of the hit French comedy Intouchables, which will follow a quadraplegic aristocrat and his ex-con care-giver.

McCarthy is also hot off the back of her Oscar nomination for Bridesmaids and has also completed the new Judd Apatow comedy This is 40, which is slated for a US release in December.
