Scary Stories To Tell in The Dark

Story by Jack Foley

ENTERTAINMENT One dares you to brave the highly anticipated new horror film Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark in a unique and immersive public event this month, with free tickets available for a terrifying late-night screening and pop-up event.

Taking over Bankside Vaults, a network of tunnels beneath Blackfriars Bridge, the immersive screening will provide cinemagoers with the ultimate way to experience the vision of the filmmakers, unleashed in unique surroundings.

The event will give daredevils the chance to face their fears within a haunted house, experience illusions inspired by the movie, weave their way through an ominous corn field and come face to face with the chilling character of Harold the Scarecrow.

About Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark

It’s 1968 in America. Change is blowing in the wind…but seemingly far removed from the unrest in the cities is the small town of Mill Valley where for generations, the shadow of the Bellows family has loomed large.

It is in their mansion on the edge of town that Sarah, a young girl with horrible secrets, turned her tortured life into a series of scary stories, written in a book that has transcended time – stories that have a way of becoming all too real for a group of teenagers who discover Sarah’s terrifying home.
