SCOTT Eastwood is to star alongside Jason Statham in Guy Ritchie’s new heist flick, Cash Truck.

An English-language remake of the 2004 French thriller Le Convoyeur, starring Jean Dujardin (of The Artist fame), the thriller will find Statham playing a mysterious worker at a cash truck company that moves hundred of millions of dollars around Los Angeles each week.

As he befriends his colleagues, who are described as a bunch of losers, his motives for joining the company eventually become clear.

Eastwood most recently starred in 2018’s Pacific Rim: Uprising alongside John Boyega as well as Fast & Furious 8.

Ritchie most recently directed Disney’s live-action remake of Aladdin, which earned over $1 billion at the box office. But he made his feature directing debut with 1999’s Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, which starred Statham, as well as Snatch.

His next film will be a return to his gangster roots for The Gentlemen, starring Matthew McConaughey and Hugh Grant.

Statham’s film credits include The Expendables, The Meg and Fast and Furious: Hobbs & Shaw.
