Seth Rogen for new movie about first inter-racial police partnership

50/50

Story by Jack Foley

SETH Rogen will line up alongside Kevin Hart in a new movie about the (fictional) pairing of the first interracial police partnership.

The project has been greenlit by Paramount and is based on a pitch from Rodney Rothman, who will now write the script.

The action comedy aims to be the ‘original’ buddy cop comedy and will see Rogen and Hart teaming up as the first white and black cop duo in a story set post-World War II, in the late 1940s.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the pair will go undercover in the jazz scene to bust up a ring involving marijuana.

Rogen is also producing the project with his partner at Point Grey Pictures, Evan Goldberg.
