Shia LaBeouf in talks for Brad Pitt's Fury
Story by Jack Foley
SHIA LaBeouf is reportedly in talks to join Brad Pitt’s World War II movie Fury.
David Ayer is attached to direct the project, which is set in the final days of the war in Europe and follows the five-man crew of an American tank named Fury that runs across a desperate German division.
Pitt is already playing a battle-hardened sergeant named Wardaddy, while LaBeouf would play a member of the crew, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Sony Pictures is distributing the picture and has already set a US release of November 14, 2014.
Ayer is looking at commencing shooting in September. As yet, there is no further word on who will play other members of the five man crew.
LaBeouf’s casting possibility comes just a day after the actor was linked to a new spy drama with Robert De Niro.
