The Mummy (Tom Cruise) - New trailer

The Mummy

WE are delighted to debut a new trailer for the release of 2017’s epic action-adventure, The Mummy – awakening in UK cinemas on Friday, June 9, 2017.

Believed to be safely entombed in a crypt deep beneath the unforgiving desert, an ancient queen (Sofia Boutella), whose destiny was unjustly taken from her, is awakened in our current day, bringing malevolence with her that has grown over millennia.

Standing in her path is a shady figure (played by Cruise), who has his own dark secret to hide.

The Mummy is directed by Alex Kurtzman and, from the look of things so far, takes the form of a gung-ho action adventure in the style of Cruise films such as Mission: Impossible.

It also stars Courtney B. Vance, Annabelle Wallis, Russell Crowe (as Dr Jekyll) and Jake Johnson.

The previous Mummy franchise spanned four movies released between 1999 and 2008. They famously starred Brendan Fraser, who will not be returning for the new film.

The Mummy reboot will be released in cinemas on June 9, 2017.
