The Wolverine - new poster reveals anguished Hugh Jackman

The Wolverine

A SECOND poster has been released for James Mangold’s upcoming adaptation of The Wolverine – and it shows star Hugh Jackman looking exceptionally anguished!

The film is adapted from Chris Claremont and Frank Miller’s 1982 limited comic series and finds Logan, aka Wolverine, heading to Japan.

Speaking to IndieLondon while promoting his most recent film, Real Steel, Jackman said of the film’s director: “He’s amazing. We had a great script and he’s making it even better, so I’m really excited by his ideas.

“I’ve worked with him before on Kate & Leopold and he’s a very, very smart director. I think we’re going to shoot… I’m doing the movie version of Les Miserables next and then we’re going to shoot after that.”

He also told Empire magazine that he was seeking a more brutal look for the character, citing Robert De Niro’s appearance in Cape Fear as an example.
