AFRICAN-American themed comedy Think Like A Man has reigned supreme for a second week at the top of the US box office.

The ensemble comedy, starring Michael Ealy, Jerry Ferrara, Meagan Good, Regina Hall and Kevin Hart, and adapted from Steve Harvey’s best-selling advice book, grossed an impressive $18 million to hold onto top spot at the expense of new openers including Jason Segel-Emily Blunt comedy The Five Year Engagement.

Indeed, The Five Year Engagement opened to a disappointing $11.2 million, coming in at No.5 at the box office.

A bigger hit was Sony and Aardman Animation’s The Pirates! Band of Misfits (aka The Pirates! In An Adventure With Scientists in the UK), which took $11.4 million and second spot.

Zac Efron’s The Lucky One slipped to third with $11.3 million in its second week while The Hunger Games fell to fourth with $11.25 million.

Two other new releases, Safe, starring Jason Statham, and The Raven, starring John Cusack, came in sixth and seventh, respectively, with modest returns.

Safe, directed by Boaz Yakin, debuted to $7.7 million, while The Raven, opened to $7.3 million.
