Timothy Spall and Juno Temple join Away

Mr Turner

Story by Jack Foley

TIMOTHY Spall and Juno Temple have joined the cast of David Blair’s new feature Away.

Away focuses on Joseph (Spall) and Ria (Temple), two people who are both looking for a way out of life until they find each other. As their friendship grows and gives them a glimpse of something more, they fear it is destined to end in the most extreme circumstances if either of them escape the bounds of their lives and get away for good.

The story is of love, of loss, and of hope played out against the magical backdrop of Blackpool.

Away is directed by UK’s double-BAFTA and Emmy-award winner, David Blair (Best Laid Plans, Accused) and produced by Terry Stone (The Messenger, Saving Santa) and Richard Turner (The Messenger, Passenger).

Producer Terry Stone commented: “I am thrilled that Cinema Management Group will be handling the international sales for AWAY at this year’s Berlin Film Festival. We are very proud of the story that we are telling with Away, as well as the team behind it, and feel that it will stand up very well at this competitive market.”
