LOKI himself – aka British actor Tom Hiddleston – introduced the latest trailer for Marvel Avengers Assemble to fans at a John Carter screening at the new Vue Xtreme Screen in Islington on Thursday night (March 8, 2012).

The actor said: “I am very proud of the film. But I can’t take credit for the trailer myself! This is the work of the brilliant Joss Whedon!”

The new Marvel Avengers Assemble trailer has already amassed millions of views online. The trailer can be seen in 3D before screenings of John Carter across the country from today.

Marvel Studios presents Marvel Avengers Assemble the Super Hero team up of a lifetime, featuring iconic Marvel Super Heroes Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk, Thor, Captain America, Hawkeye and Black Widow.

When an unexpected enemy emerges that threatens global safety and security, Nick Fury, Director of the international peacekeeping agency known as S.H.I.E.L.D., finds himself in need of a team to pull the world back from the brink of disaster. Spanning the globe, a daring recruitment effort begins.

Marvel Avengers Assemble is in UK cinemas from April 26.
