In The Valley of Elah

Story by Jack Foley

TOMMY Lee Jones is joining Matt Damon in the new Jason Bourne movie, the fourth instalment in the franchise.

It has not yet been revealed what role The Fugitive star will play but, according to The Hollywood Reporter, the script calls for an established actor in an authoritative bureaucratic role.

Paul Greengrass is also returning to the franchise to direct the action thriller, which is in pre-production ahead of its July 29, 2016 release date.

Julia Stiles will also be back in front of the camera, doubtless providing Damon’s Bourne with another ally, while Alicia Vikander is also on board as a supporting player.

Greengrass has also written the screenplay with Christopher Rouse.

Jones recently directed, starred and co-wrote the Western drama The Homesman and will shortly be seen in crime drama Criminal alongside Kevin Costner, Gary Oldman and Ryan Reynolds.
