Transformers 4 to be called Age of Extinction

THE fourth Transformers movie has been named Transformers: Age of Extinction.

The title was unveiled along with a new teaser poster, which has the Transformers logo emerging from the sand.

As yet, plot details continue to remain sketchy about the latest instalment despite continued announcements by cast and director Michael Bay.

New leading man Mark Wahlberg recently confirmed that the film would serve as a “standalone” picture from the first three, while producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura confirmed that it will feature Dinobots for the first time.

Former Frasier star Kelsey Grammer has also joined the cast as the main villain,a counter intelligence officer named Harold Attinger.

He joins an all-new ensemble that also includes Stanley Tucci, Jack Reynor and Titus Welliver.

Transformers: Age of Extinction is due to open on July 7, 2014 in the UK.
